Our baby room cares for 9 babies and offers a calming homely environment, supporting your babies first steps into Nursery and helping your baby to settle into a routine that supports them to grow and flourish.
Our daily routine includes creative play, storytimes, singing, curiosity play and planned trips to our soft play area, garden and local outings.
Each baby has a named key person who knows them well and understands and plans for their individual needs.
Our daily activities are planned to focus on the three prime areas of learning to provide opportunities for babies to develop their Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language and Physical Development. We focus on curiosity play and learning and provide activities that give opportunities for babies to explore their environment through natural play and wooden resources.
The babies also take part in a weekly Jo Jingle’s session with Victoria. Our dedicated baby Room Leader Michaela has completed her Level 3 qualification in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and her Baby Room Leader Training. Michaela has over 10 years experience of working with young children and has achieved 10 years of service with us here at Premier Lodge Day Nursery.
