Outdoor play is an important part of the daily curriculum at Premier Lodge Day Nursery. All children have access to the outdoor area
in the morning and afternoon every day. We access the garden in all weathers so it is important that all children have suitable clothing and outdoor wear for the weather.
Children are taken in the garden in small groups in their base rooms and are encouraged to explore their natural surroundings, the garden area is planned as part of the daily curriculum and provides opportunities for the children to explore and develop physical skills, imaginative skills, and supports the seven areas of learning.
The babies have their own designated garden soft surfaced garden space that is set on the rear of their base room.
